SEN Practitioner - Manchester - full time

Job description

A Provision situated in Manchester are looking to recruit a suitably Qualified Nursery Assistant to start in September 2018. The Provision provides School places for pupils that have an EHCP plan so the successful Nursery Assistant will be able to demonstrate a clear passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.

This particular role will involve working directly with pupils who have additional needs and supporting them in reaching their holistic potential. The staff at this Setting work with pupils supporting them in achieving the early learning goals that are identified in the Early Years Framework (EYFS) so it would be ideal for the Nursery Assistant to have an in-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework.

In order to be considered for this position you should have:

- An in-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework

- A level 2 in Childcare (highly desirable)

- Significant experience working with pupils with SEN

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
