SEN Learning Support Assistant Vacancy in Ebbw Vale

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit teaching assistants that have a specialism in SEN to work at a client school based in Ebbw Vale. The role will require candidates to work on a one to one basis however, you may be utilised elsewhere when needed. The pupils within the school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour. Supporting daily trips to the shop or park may also be required of candidates. Manual Handling trained candidates would be advantageous for the role. You will be asked to work between 8:30 - 3:30, helping with planning and keeping the classrooms clean at the end of the day may also be asked of you at times. The pay is based on a sliding scale that ranges from £54.00-£60.00 a day, the rate of pay will be dependant on experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
