Our specialist SEN Branch are currently working within a number of client SEN schools in and around the Cardiff area. They have been in touch over the last couple of weeks to request additional staffing requirements for when their children return to school at full capacity by the 14th September. Worried you have little experience within schools? Please do not worry, we have fantastic relationships with each school who are more than supportive of potential candidates working there with very little experience so long as the personality is the right fit for their school.
What do you need to know about the school?

- Multisensory Impairment (MSI)
- Emotional, Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
As you can appreciate having some experience or understanding in any of the above would be more than beneficial. Regardless of whether this is in your personal or professional life. The specialist provision has state of the art facilities and many other professionals will be on site full time. These include; nurses & physiotherapists - you would need to be able to recieve guidance and support from all those around you.
What would be expected of the successful candidate?
- you will support the teacher and other members of support staff within the class implement an adapted curriculum to ensure it is accessible for all.
- You will not be fazed by challenging situations that can arise unexpectantly.
- Some personal care may be expected in certain classes.
- Ability to go over and beyond what your job role states.
What are the next steps?
You will need to submit your CV on the below means and one of our team at the Specialist SEN Branch at Teaching Personnel will be in touch to carry on your application process. It's important to note that during these uncertain times we find ourselves in. Teaching Personnel are continuing to follow Government guidance and have our own candidate re-entry plan to ensure the safety of our candidates, our clients & the children you will come into contact with.
