Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a range of schools in the Colchester, Essex area. We are looking to recruit passionate Learning Support Assistants to work alongside children and young people with a multitude of Special Needs. This role is to work on a full time basis, to begin ASAP!
Working as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting children across all Key Stages, accompanied by a Teacher and other Support Assistants. You will be working with children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs such as; MLD, PMLD, SLD, Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome and Physical Disabilities.
The successful candidate must have experience with some of the following:
- Experience working with people with SEN / Disabilities
- Confidence supporting children and young people with different types of SEN
- Previous experience as a Care / Support Worker
- Work within a Specialist Provision or SEN school
Teaching Personnel can offer SEN Teaching Assistants:
- Weekly pay of GBP300-GBP350 per week, however long term rates can be negotiated on your behalf
- Access to unique CPD opportunities to increase your qualifications and knowledge of the field such as: Autism Awareness, Safeguarding, Team Teach and more
- An experienced consultant along with our dedicated on call service
