Learning Support Assistant - SEN

Have you got previous experience working with Secondary school pupils?

Do you have extensive knowledge of Special Education Needs?

We are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Secondary School in Cardiff. In this role you will be responsible for supporting pupils with Special education needs in small groups or on a 1:1 basis within a Secondary School. Pupils will be educated between mainstream and attached units within the school.

The ideal candidate will already have experience of working with pupils that have Special Education needs and/or pupils with challenging behaviour. In this role you will posses strong classroom management skills and have the ability to work well with mixed ability groups.

This is a challenging but also very rewarding role and would suit someone who has worked in any professional setting that involves working with Special Needs. We would welcome applications from those in professions such as working in Schools, Youth Workers, Prison Officers, Residential settings.

To be successful for this role we would need a valid DBS and EWC registration to be processed.
