Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a SEN Lead Teacher in the Launceston Area. The School is a "good" School graded by Ofsted. They have a great Values and a vision of being one of the BEST SEN Schools in Cornwall and Devon.

Hours

- Hours are 8:30-15:30 5 Days a week

Pay

- Pay is depending on experience and can range from £100-£140 per day depending on experience

The School

The School is a "good" School catering for 5-16 year olds. The students may show challenging behaviours and some suffer from SEN. SEMH or SLD. This is a School located near Launceston and they are looking to expand their amazing team in the rapid growth of the School.

You Will Need:

- Show trust and confidence in pupils and co-workers

- Demonstrate Analytical thinking in Teaching

- Understand a range of Teaching Strategies and apply effective classroom management

- Use Performance Data to manage progression of students

- Be familiar with the SEND code of practice

- Have a knowledge of Teachers professional duties such as planning

Core Requirements

Full Qualified Teaching Status

Full Driving Licence

Track record of students progression

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
