Job description

Are you looking for the next step in your career?

Are you passionate about providing SEN children the right education?

Teaching Personnel are seeking a specialist SEN KS1 Primary School teacher for the Hull and East Yorkshire area, looking to start in September 2018.

About the role

The role will primarily involve teaching KS1 classes to small groups of children within an SEN setting; many of the children you would be teaching would have varying degrees of disabilities, so the ability to work with children with diverse needs is essential. About you as the ideal candidate

Key Skills:

  • The ability to convey instructions and tailor your communications for specific SEN conditions.
  • Compose lesson plans with individual pupil's conditions in mind.
  • You will be able to build relationships with other members of staff and outside bodies where appropriate
  • You will have calm demeanour and always be in control of your emotions.
  • You will provide a positive role model to students and lead other members of staff.
