Severe Learning Difficulties Teaching Assistant - Bury

Based in Bury, my client is an OFSTED ‘Outstanding’ school, which specialises in working with young people with profound and complex low incidence special educational needs. They are looking for a passionate, motivated, and flexible Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work with their children.

You must be somebody who has the skills and expertise in meeting the needs of children and young with one or more of the following conditions:

***Autism spectrum conditions & multi-sensory impairment

***Hearing impairment including cortical visual impairment with additional needs

***Profound and multiple learning disabilities

***Auditory processing disorder

***Additional medical needs including progressive and degenerative conditions

Hours of work are vary between 8.15am – 4.00pm

Teaching Personnel is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; therefore all individuals applying for jobs through Teaching Personnel must undertake or have undertaken an Enhanced DBS check via the Disclosure Barring Service – Full assistance provided by the agency.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
