Full time Teaching Assistant required to support SEN pupils in Gateshead

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a caring, child centred individual with a passion to make a difference to the learning of young children. One of our client schools based in Gateshead are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to support their pupils in their in a Reception class and to support pupils with SEN on a one to one basis.

The role will entail one to one and small group work activities, working with pupils of low ability and those who have additional needs.

- Full time role to start in mid September for 1 term

- Competitive pay up to £65 per day

The candidate we are looking for must be flexible, experienced in working with children from 3 – 5 and are either level 2 or level 3 qualified. You must have experience with Letters and Sounds Phonics and be confident with the EYFS curriculum and also have a nurturing, child-centred approach. You must also be able to tailor learning to suit the child’s needs and be able to keep children engaged.

To apply for this post you must:

- Have a level 3 CACHE qualification

- Have at least 6 months experience working in a Primary School (Beneficial if you have worked in EYFS/KS1)

- Be available full time from 18th September

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
