A school in Hammersmith is seeking a 1:1 behavioural mentor to start immediately

Teaching Personnel has been contacted by a very reputable school in Hammersmith and asked to find a passionate and caring teaching assistant to become a 1:1 mentor for a number of children across KS1 and KS2 with behavioural issues. This role will generally comprise of working with children on a 1:1 basis with the aim of getting them up to speed with the rest of their peers. You will also work within the main class environment to support the children when needed.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with children with behavioural issues or SEN and be degree educated. If you do not possess these attributes but you are passionate and really believe you can make a difference in children’s lives then you will still be considered.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
