SEN TA to work with Early Year in Westminster

Great transport links and only a short walk form Victoria Station

Pay negotiable on experience

1:1 and whole class support opportunities available

A lovely primary school in Westminster are looking for a SEN TA for a full time long term role working with early year pupils. The EY class is a SEN unit attached to the primary school and is made up of 7/8 students with ASC and one child who has challenging behaviour.

The Early Years SEN unit is in need of an enthusiastic SEN TA to start asap. Teaching Personnel work with a range of primary Schools that require Support Assistants to work as general classroom support or on a 1-2-1 basis with pupils with specific physical and medical needs so if this role is not exactly what you are looking for other positions available in SEN schools. You will need to be proactive, enthusiastic and have a determination to succeed.

Prior experience working in SEN and a Learning Support Assistant qualification are desirable but applicants with a Care or Nursing background will also be considered. The needs of the pupils are broad and many children posses Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Applicants with additional skills such as Makaton, Medicine Administration, PECS and Moving and Handling are extremely sought after. If this sounds like the role for you please call 0207 593 3088 or email lee.blake@teachingpersonnel.com with an up to date CV and personal statement.
