Primary SEN (Autism) Teaching Assistant position available in Kensington

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a friendly, compassionate and eager Teaching Assistant with SEN Experience (preferably with Autistic children) for a very exciting opportunity within one of our fantastic schools, located in Kensington.

The ideal candidate must relate to children on an individual level as well as creating a fun, stimulating and safe environment, whilst maintaining high standards of education. You will be looking after a Year 3 pupil with severe Autism on a one-to-one basis. This offer is for a long-term position, 5 days per week. At least a 3 months experience as a Teaching Assistant is required, and any certificates, completed courses such as CPD-Supporting Children with Autism, Nasen – Supporting SEN and Autism Awareness or experience working with SEN children is desirable (but not compulsory).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
