Graduate Teaching Assistant with SEMH experience needed for South Manchester school (M22)

A high calibre school in South Manchester are actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their hard-working team in September 2017. You will work with SEN pupils identified with SEMH (Social & Emotional Mental Health) on both a 1:1 basis and with small groups and will contribute towards a purposeful learning environment by supporting classroom teachers in teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working with SEN and will have outstanding inter-personal skills. You will need to be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children as well as being able to work effectively in a team. Experience of SEMH and phonic schemes will be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
