TA's required for Outstanding Rated School in Derby

  • Opportunity to work in an Ofsted Rated Outstanding School
  • Competitive rates of pay (up to £65 per day dependent on experience)
  • Multiple roles available - 1 year fixed-term

Teaching Personnel is working with an inclusive school in Derby City Centre. The school works with pupils aged 4 to 11 years with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This includes those with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The school is looking to fill these roles full time, however part time opportunities may be considered for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have previous working experience with children with a range of needs and be able to work as part of a high performance team.

They are looking for outgoing, creative and passionate individuals to assist with the following roles:

• PE, sport or dance

• Creative and expressive arts (the ability to play an instrument would be great!)

• Cookery or food technology

• Learning outside the Classroom or Forest Schools

• Autism or Speech, Language & Communication strategies

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
