SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working with Physical Disabilities and Personal Care

  • Full Time Role, Monday-Friday (8:30-4pm)

We are currently seeking to recruit teaching assistants within the Lewisham/Southwark area of London, holding experience or a good understanding of Special Educational Needs, having previously worked with children or adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Physical Disabilities or Autism. Holding training in Moving and Handling, personal care, Makaton and PECS would be very beneficial, however this isn't mandatory. The ideal candidate will be able to work full time. To be considered for these roles you must have experience working within an educational setting or have a care background as well as holding and being able to provide two references from the last two places that you have worked. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
