Teaching Assistant - Nursery-Cardiff

Due to a member of staff going on maternity leave this Primary school based in Cardiff are looking for a Teaching assistant to work on a 1-1 basis with challenging behavior and Autism. The position is full time and the successful candidate will be able to start work in May. The successful candidate will be confident and enthusiastic and would be required to build a strong working relationship with all staff members and pupils. This role is definitely a fulfilling role for the successful candidate.

This Cardiff based Primary School has a strong management infrastructure allowing both its staff and pupils to feel supported in everything they do. This is a fantastic school to work at and offers a huge range of facilities which allow teachers and support staff to develop their skills and improve lesson quality. The atmosphere in this school is one which should be admired as the staff are all very friendly and welcoming and the head teacher is continually listening to new ideas from staff on how they can improve pupil learning.

This is a great opportunity to join this Cardiff Primary School as a teaching assistant and become part of its exceptional team. The position is for 5 days a week and will run for at least the summer term initially.

You must:

* Have experience of working in a classroom setting within the last 2 years

* Experience in Foundation Stage will be beneficial

* Able to provide support to children of varying abilities in an innovative way

* Experience with Challenging Behaviour and or Autism.

* Able to expand the learning ability for pupils of all levels

You will be in need of a DBS which is registered with the Update Service and an up-to-date registration with the EWC.
