Teaching Personnel have a number of clients in the Potters Bar/Hertfordshire area, including a mixture of primary, secondary and SEN Schools. Some of our schools use us a a first port of call agency for their short term AND long term bookings so we have a high demand for Teaching Assistants living in the area.
Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you have any or all of the following skills?:
• Flexible approach to working and a willingness to travel to a variety of locations within the area
• Willingness to undertake day to day bookings in addition to being put forward for longer term opportunities
• Ideally a CACHE Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
(NB this is NOT essential)
• Recent experience working with children in an educational capacity
• Confidence to work and liaise with a variety of professionals
• Be confident to work with pupils who may have additional needs including those who present with challenging behaviour
• An understanding of effective safeguarding practices
• Willingness to undergo any additional CPD training that is required
• Access to a car with a full driving licence (not essential)
