This school located in Salford seek to appoint an SEN teaching assistant to support a year 8 pupil on a one to one basis from September. SEN teaching assistants wishing to be considered will hold prior experience and be willing to provide basis personal care. All teaching assistants shortlisted for interview will have the opportunity to gain a 12 month position with permanent employment also available.
The ideal candidate will be -
•Hold teaching assistant qualification (Level 2 minimum)
•Experienced within the special needs sector
•Hold previous experience/strong knowledge of working within secondary education
•Willing to assist with basic personal care
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an excellent support team who offer full support to one another and work with a well behaved and friendly pupil. Within this role you will support the Male pupil within all curriculum areas as well providing additional support around school between lessons.
The school is a 11-19 Community Comprehensive college which falls under the Salford LEA on the border of Warrington and Trafford. The school is very close to Irlam train station and is easily accessible from the surrounding areas, Wigan, Warrington, Manchester and Trafford.
