SEN Teaching Assistant required for SEN School in Bradford

  • Experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions
  • Available for a minimum of 3 days a week during term time
  • Comfortable providing personal care

A specialist school in Bradford are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across Key Stage One.

The school is situated in the Low Moor area of Bradford and caters for pupils with a range of SE), including Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) aged 3-11. Due to the nature of pupil needs, you will be required to provide personal care; so must be comfortable with changing and feeding.

You will be supporting access to learning, under the direction of the class teacher. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to act on their own initiative and have experience in working with pupils with SEN in an education or health and care settings. Certificates in Moving and Handling, Team Teach and/or Autism awareness is also desired but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
