SEN Teaching Assistant required in Bradford

Teaching Personnel are working with a Specialist school in Bradford who are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (SENTA) to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

The school provides an alternative curriculum to pupils aged 3-19 with a range of Special Educational Needs including Autism, Hearing and Visual Impairments and Speech, Language and Communication Needs. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, it will be your role to support students with additional needs both inside and outside of the classroom. You will be committed to achieving outstanding results and for students to always have a 'can do' attitude to learning. You will contribute to the delivery of a range of learning activities including core subjects and independent life-skills, preparing students for their next steps in education or employment.

You must have prior experience as a Teaching Assistant and have an interest in supporting young adults in an education setting. You must be able to travel to Bradford by either car or public transport (the school has good transport links from Bradford centre, Leeds and Calderdale) and be available on a long term basis (minimum 3 days a week during term time).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
