Are you looking to be an SEN TA? Teaching Personnel require Special Needs Support Assistants to work in local schools.

You will need to be proactive, enthusiastic and have a determination to succeed. Prior experience working in SEN and a Learning Support Assistant qualification are desirable but applicants with other backgrounds will also be considered – the best qualification is the right attitude!

The needs of the pupils are broad and may include

• Specific learning difficulties

• Autism

• Behavioural and emotional difficulties

• Physical disabilities

• Hearing impairment

• Visual impairment

• Multi-sensory impairment

• Profound and multiple learning difficulties

Applicants with additional skills including Team Teach, Makaton, PECS, Tube Feeding, Moving and Handling are extremely sought after.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates applying must undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via DBS.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
