Are you an enthusiastic SEN teaching assistant offering commitment to high quality learning?

Teaching Personnel is currently working with a school in the Fareham Area who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support small groups of children who have a range of needs. For this position, you will be required to have experience of working in a school and ideally have some SEN experience. The ideal candidate would be mostly working in small class sizes where you will be required to assist the teachers with a wide range of activities including sports and arts to help with the learning of the children.

The school caters for young people who have been excluded from school, have special educational needs (such as Autism, Aspergers, Dyslexia, PMLD and EBD) or statements of social, emotional and mental health needs.

The school is a very friendly and supportive environment to work within. The position will be full time and is to last the rest of this academic with scope to continue longer for the right candidate.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
