A Special Educational Needs School with primary, secondary and post-16 provisions based in Hillingdon are looking for support staff to start full time for the Spring Term.

The school caters for primary, secondary and post-16 aged pupils diagnosed with autism across the spectrum, severe learning difficulties and associated learning difficulties.

They are looking for enthusiastic support staff (teaching assistants) that can use their initiative, get stuck in and are committed to making a positive long term impact in children’s lives.

Do you have experience with any of the following?

Special Need Schools

Special Need Provisions

PRUs (Pupil Referral Units)

Behaviour/Inclusion Provisions

Residential Care and Care homes

Mainstream Schools supporting SEN or behaviour 1:1

Nurseries

Play Centres

Autism specific approaches PECS and TEACCH (visual picture aids)

Makaton

Moving and handling (Manual handling/hoisting)

Personal Care or nappy changing



Are you available for any of the following?

Full time work (Mondays to Fridays 8:30am-4:00pm)

What we will need:

Initial interview and registration at our London Bridge Office

Child workforce ONLY DBS registered on the update service

Minimum of 2 school based/professional reference contact details

Updated CV with a 6 year career history (2011-2017), can include education history

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
