An autism and behaviour provision school based in Shepherd’s Bush are looking for experienced support workers for a full-time role to start immediately supporting pupils with autism, mental health difficulties and challenging behaviour. This school caters for secondary aged pupils with social and emotional difficulties with some pupils also having additional diagnosis of autism and learning difficulties. The school uses educational methods for pupils throughout the school with autism such as visual aids (PECS, TEACCH) and signing such as Makaton alongside sensory gardens and rooms.

The school have an interest in support workers and as there are a lot of transferrable skills between Social Work and working within Special Need Schools, Pupil Referral Units and alternative provisions.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm

Term time only
