Inspiring Teaching Assistant required for a Primary school in Huddersfield

Teaching Personnel have recently been asked to recruit a number of Teaching Assistants who are experienced within Key Stage 2. We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and committed individuals to work alongside other professionals in helping to raise standards and secure the best possible outcomes for all children throughout schools. The successful candidates will have high expectations for all children, a commitment to achieving the very best standards of learning and a willingness to contribute to and work as part of a team. Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills are essential. We require all candidates to have GCSE grades in the core subjects from A-C and a degree level education is desirable.

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Rush Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University. These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
