Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £60 per day minimum

Location: Thurrock, Essex

Teaching Personnel are pleased to be working with a primary school academy who along with other schools in the area, work together to achieve the highest educational standards for the whole community and is a friendly school that values teamwork and high achievement in all areas.

They are looking to appoint two Learning Support Assistants to work on a 1:2:1 basis with pupils who have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). This post will be for the duration of the SEN funding for the individual child.

The successful candidates would have experience of working in a Learning Support Assistant role within a school environment and with children with special needs. They would have a calm, observant and responsive approach and also have GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths.

They are looking for candidates who enjoy working closely with pupils, who can act on their own initiative and who are committed to meeting the needs of individual pupils. Experience of supporting children with ASD or a Care Plan would be desirable.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
