Teaching Assistant required - Northumberland

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large number of leading secondary academies and schools in coastal Northumberland, many exclusively. With a variety of roles from Cramlington to Berwick, via Ashington, Bedlington, Morpeth, Alnwick and Blyth; we have a position local to you!

Teaching Personnel has also been physically established locally, situated in Newcastle and the surrounding areas for 13 years.

We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in Secondary schools in Northumberland area.

Duties include:

• Providing support to pupils on an individual, class or small group basis.

• Giving extra help with children with special educational needs or for those with English as an additional language.

• Helping to develop learning and adapt learning materials

• Responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures.

• Motivating and encouraging pupils

• Assisting with marking or assessing work.

• Helping with school trips, events or activities

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
