Learning Support Assistants
- Keen to experience all aspects of SEN
- Manual Handling training is desirable but not essential
- Regular work
Teaching Personnel work closely with a "super" school within the Vale of Glamorgan that caters students aged 3-19who have a wide range of Special Educational Needs. Within this school the children & young people are able to access vocational alternative lessons that are differentiated accordingly. Manual handling training is desirable but not essential as we are in the process of arranging manual handling training in October half term.
You must be able to use your own initiative and willing to get "stuck in" on occasions - some of these children & young people can display challenging behavior you must be able to assist the school staff in defusing & de-escalating any situation as they arise.
Does this sound like the job for you?
If you've got a Child & Adult DBS on the update service we are looking just for you - this school specifically asks for candidates with Child & Adult Workforce DBS - so get in touch!
