SEN teaching assistant

Do you have experience as a teaching assistant, supporting pupils with SEN in a prime school environment? A small primary school in east Manchester have a position for an SEN teaching assistant starting straight away, this will be working with Nurture groups and supporting children who need guidance and direction to reach their potential in a range of subjects.

- SEN teaching assistant, east Manchester school

- Working within a large support staff team (training opportunities)

- Previous experience with Nurture groups or Year 3 and 4 pupils desired

- Full time immediate position in a Oldham school

- Temporary on going supply with the possibility to secure a school contract

Situated in the Oldham area of east Manchester, this is a small and well regarded primary school with an inclusive SEN department and wonderful facilities. The school have a temporary position for an SEN teaching assistant due to restructuring within their support staff team, if you have previous school experience as a Teaching Assistant (supporting Special Needs) you are welcome to apply. This is initially temporary on an ongoing supply basis with a view to securing a school based contract as they structure and set out plans for the new academic year.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
