An outstanding SEN School in Timperley is hoping to recruit an Primary Teacher for a full time position, starting in September. The school caters for children aged 2-11 with a range of special educational needs arising from a range of conditions.
The provision of the highest quality teaching is of paramount importance. Pupils need to experience a wide range of motivating and challenging, well-pitched learning opportunities. Teacher expertise will identify barriers to learning and plan ways to overcome these.
All pupils have difficulties accessing education and need to work in smaller class groups with a high level of specialist staff from Education, Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and the School Nursing Service.
Each pupil at the school has an individual programme including activities that are designed to encourage them to make good progress across all areas and achieve their full potential. Programmes include specialist approaches and resources to help them do this.
