The Manchester SEN branch of Teaching Personnel are currently looking for primary qualified teachers who are able to deliver the curriculum to children with SEN in a range of settings, including pupil referral units, SEN schools, residential children's homes and other alternative settings that cater for children with PMLD, SLD, ASC and social, emotional & mental health problems.
To be considered for a teaching role, you must hold a teaching qualification and QTS, primary or secondary is acceptable. However, if you hold a secondary teaching qualification but want work in a primary setting, you must have had experience teaching primary children.
Additional training such as PECS, Team-Teach or SCIP are highly desirable as some of the children and young people may display challenging behaviour, both verbal and physical.
If you feel you have the relevant skills/experience and are able to demonstrate how you would meet the needs of children with complex needs, please send your CV or register online.
