A lovely SEN school in Hackney are looking for a KS2 Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Teacher. This is a well maintained Special School for ages 3-11. The needs of the pupils are broad and many children have SLD. The school looks for additional skills such as Makaton, Medicine Administration, PECS, Nasogastric and Gastrostomy Tube Feeding and Moving and Handling.
The Role:
• To Lead a KS2 SLD class
• Teaching Assistants in class to help support
• Competitive pay rates
• 1 term initially potential to continue

• Opportunity to demonstrate your skills and expertise
The ideal SEN Teacher:
• Flexible
• Experience working with students with SLD and complex needs
• Experience working with primary students (beneficial)
• Be adaptable to working across the school
• Hold current QTS and have excellent communication and fluent in English
