SEN teacher for STF unit in primary school, Neath

Teaching Personnel work with a primary school in Neath who have an SEN unit attached. They are looking for SEN specialist teachers to work in the unit and teach a group of 8 pupils with autism, mild learning difficulties and speech and language difficulties. You would be expected to teach preplanned work, mark all completed work, lead a variety of kinaesthetic activities and work very closely with the LSAs and TAs in the class. Work will be on a regular basis and will be to cover courses, sickness, non contact time and management release time. You will be paid weekly at a daily rate of up to £100 per day, depending on experience. You will also have a flexible diary so if you are not available you can easily block off your day and we will not contact you, alternatively if you would like full time work, we will endeavour to book you five days per week. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
