Job description

SEN School in Enfield seeking to appoint SEN Teacher to start in January 2017

  • The school provides for pupils with complex needs, mainly those with severe or moderate learning difficulties. A number have speech, language and communication difficulties and a diagnosis of autism.
  • Extremely supportive working environment
  • Competitive daily rate ranging due to experience from £110 up to £150

The SEN School in Enfield is looking to appoint a SEN Teacher to start in January for at least a term.

You will have a choice of working in two classroom;

First Classroom:

- Pupils are in Year 7 and Year 8 (9 students)

- MLD Classroom

- Working alongside two experienced Learning Support Assistants

- Low level challenging behaviour

- Curriculum that you will be required to teach are; English, Maths, Science, PHSE and Topic.

Second Classroom:

- Pupils are in Year 8, 9 and 10 (10 students)

- SLD Classroom

- Working alongside two experienced Learning Support Assistants

- Low level challenging behaviour

- Curriculum that you will be required to teach are; English, Maths, ICT and Independence.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
