Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit teaching assistants to work with a client school based in Ebbw Vale that caters for all types of special educational needs. The school has excellent facilities that allows pupils to get the most out of their learning. The children at the school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour. You will be asked to work within small groups or on a one to one basis. The school day starts at 9:00am, however we expect candidates to get to the school by 8:30, the school day will then finish at 3:30. Experience of SEN is essential for the role, whether it is inside or outside of education is not relevant. Successful candidates will have strong behaviour management skills. We offer a competitive rate of pay ranging from £54.00-£60.00 a day based on experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
