Would you like to be part of a committed and inspiring team in a school rated Good by Ofsted?
I am looking for a part-time or full-time Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who have learning difficulties, behavioural problems or physical or sensory disabilities. Many pupils have a reluctance to engage in Education, so having a good imagination, creativity and a positive problem solving approach is essential to this role.
Being a SEN TA is both challenging and rewarding and the role is likely to vary hugely on a day to day basis. The tasks which a SEN TA carries out can include:
- Assessing the individual learning needs of pupils
- Positively managing challenging behaviour and dealing with difficult situations
- Liaising with parents, carers and other professionals who work with the pupil
- Supervising activities both inside and outside of school
- Working with teachers to find bespoke and individualised learning techniques
Additional training can be provided to assist in your success in this role. As an employee of Teaching Personnel, you will have access to our CPD Academy - a huge database of additional training including Team Teach, Autism Awareness, NASEN and much much more.
To find out more about this role, or how Teaching Personnel can assist you in your career as a Teaching Assistant - please contact Harry on 01202 297744 or send your CV.
