SEN and EBD Teacher

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for General Cover Teachers in Yeovil, teaching KS3/KS4 curriculum to pupils with Emotional and Challenging Behaviour and Emotional Difficulties.

Your role will involve working with one of our SEN Settings in the Yeovil, where you will be supported by a committed team. This position is a temporary post with potential for a long term/permanent post.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have a good knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience working with young people in SEN environments.

The Alternative Provision School supports students who are, with few exceptions, referred from the mainstream schools in the local area. Strong links are maintained with the local schools and most students have effective Dual Registered provision.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
