SEN and Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking for passionate, driven and determined Teaching Assistants who have experience of working with children and young people with SEN and/or Challenging behaviours.

We are currently supporting a school who have a high demand for Teaching Assistants with experience of working with children and young people. The school have approached us with a couple of positions starting in September, with both full time and part time positions. Ideal candidates will need to be able to drive.

The school have asked that the ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year experience of working with children and young people. You must be able to show that you have experience of working with different needs and abilities as well.

The school have requested that the ideal candidate has:

  • Minimum 1 year experience of working within education
  • Experience of working within other facilities working with children and young people
  • GCSE A-C in English and Maths
  • NVQ/CACHE/BTEC Level 3
  • Passion and drive to make a difference
  • Able to support children and young people

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
