SEN 1:1 teaching assistant job in Bedford

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a school in Bedford closely who are looking for 1:1 teaching staff to join their team. For this role you must:

  • Have previous teaching assistant experience
  • Be able to adapt different learning styles to suit the needs of the pupils.
  • Have strong behaviour management skills.
  • Be able to build strong relationships.
  • Have a positive attitude towards and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Be passionate about wanting to make a difference

The school has recently had a new building added to the site, expanding the number of classrooms and has further improvement plans for the future. This is a school which has mixed class sets that include challenging behaviour. Due to the catchment area the school also has a high number of EAL students.
