Do you have experience working with children with ASD, ADHD and SEMH?

Teaching Personnel are looking for confident and enthusiastic individuals to work in a client school in Exeter who are seeking a Teaching Assistant on a 1:1 basis.

If you have previous experience working with children and have a passion for making a difference and working with students on a 1:1 basis, this opportunity is for you and we want to hear from you!

You will:

  • Be confident working with children with a range of SEN needs and challenging behaviour
  • Have knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Have experience working with children and young adults
  • Be a driver with a full, clean licence
  • Be resilient, forward-thinking and have a good sense of humour
  • Potential sports coaching or youth work experience

You will be working school hours, Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 4:30. This is to start immediately and is ongoing for the Academic year.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
