SEMH Teaching assistants required at a Social Emotional & Mental Health school in Ely, Cambridgeshire.

*Full and part time positions are available for both short and long term roles.*

*Offering an excellent rate of pay.*

*Available immediately or in September for the new academic year*

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a challenging and rewarding environment. The pupils at this school have varying needs and will require careful attention and care, both mental and physical.

The school provides the pupils, aged in both primary and secondary, with the best care and support to provide them with the greatest possible education.

The candidate must be a hard working and motivated person, willing to work with challenging SEMH children in 1:1 and small group scenarios.

-You must be able to work at least once weekly, Monday-Friday between 0830-1530.

-Due to the challenging nature of the pupils, it is required that you have previous experience working with children with SEMH or similar experience.

-Due to the location of the school you must have access to your own means of transport

-You must have a desire and passion to work with and care for children with SEMH

-You do not need any specific qualifications, only previous experience with SEMH children or similar. A DBS check will be required prior to starting, if you do not have one we can process one for you as we are an authorised counter signatory and will go through full details in your interview.
