Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently working with a SEN school based in CV10 that is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis, with a view to permanent work. The school caters for pupils aged 9-18 with challenging behaviour, SEMH, Autism & ADHD. The class sizes are around 6-10, and there is always a minimum of 3 members of staff in there.

The school only opened in September 2017, and are currently in a temporary building. They are moving to Rugby in September 2018. It isan excellent opportunity to join a fantastic, new school that has excellent visions for the future of their staff ad pupils.

They are looking for a strong candidate, that has strong behaviour management skills. Experience working with either children or adults with challenging behaviour is desirable. A Teaching Assistant qualifcation is not essential. Someone from a strong sporting background would be fantastic, whether is be a Sports Graduate/Coach or a eg. SEMH Dance/Performing Arts teacher.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
