SEMH Teaching Assistant Needed September Start

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to start in a September position.

The school cater to secondary aged pupils who have been permanently excluded from a mainstream school environment. The pupil now attend and alternative position for their education/

To be able to be put forward for this role you need to have experience within the following;

  • Experience working with children or adults with challenging behaviour
  • Degree within Psychology
  • Experience working within a residential setting
  • Experience working with children or adults with additional needs

The school will consider candidates who have a real passion supporting vulnerable children.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
