SEMH Teaching Assistant needed in Wisbech

A position has just become available in a local primary school in Wisbech, requiring a Teaching assistant that ideally has experience in at least 2 of the following:

  • Youth Offending Services
  • Working 1:1 with SEMH
  • Ex-forces, Military/Police
  • Sports coaching qualification or background
  • Team Teach/SKIP, CPI, MAPA Physical Intervention Training
  • Supporting NEET
  • Supporting challenging behaviour within an out of school setting
  • Emotionally Robust

If you are successful, you will be supporting a year 2 pupil who will be joining the school with an ASC and SEMH Statement, who displays varying levels of extremely challenging behaviour. When supporting the child, you will be working on a 2:1 basis. The school is a professional and pupil lead environment for educating children, and is an ideal place of work for any aspiring TA's. You will require your own transport in order to reach the school, as well as be available during school hours from 8:30 - 3:30. What's more, you will be earning between £55-70 per day for the work that you do.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
