Would you like a new challenge in an outstanding Special School, working with a range of needs in a friendly and supportive environment, committed to developing staff?

We are looking for teaching assistant interested in developing their career. Previous experience of working in a special needs setting is not essential as we are looking for an individual that is passionate about working with children and is willing to support our vision. However, you must have some experience wokring with young people to be considered. 

There are currently 114 children on roll. You will join a team that is passionately committed to harnessing the educational potential of all children whilst encouraging them to engage in daily life with increased confidence, self-esteem and independence. This role will include working on the schools transport in the afternoon, therefore your hours will be 32.5 hrs a week, 10:30am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri. You will be the escort on the bus in the evenings taking the children home from school from 3:00pm-5:00pm, you will be based in the classroom as a TA from 10:30am-3:00pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
