SEN Learning Support Assistant – Camberwell

Teaching Personnel is an education agency, which has been supplying staff to schools for over 20 years. We have a good relationship with an SEN setting based in Camberwell, which provides tailored learning and support to post-16 students with complex special needs.

We are looking for learning support assistants who are:

  • Available for a regular role, starting from Tuesday 19th April 2021, 4 days per week Monday to Thursday, working hours are 8:45am – 4:30pm
  • Available for day to day supply (covering on a part time basis, as and when you are needed) – this kind of work would suit anyone who already has a part time job or a zero hours contract, and is looking for extra days of work to supplement their income

You must be enthusiastic about working with vulnerable students who have special needs and are aged 16+. Many students are supported to find work placements within the community after leaving this educational setting and part of your role here will support this.

  • They are offering between £10 and £14 per hour pay rate, and you will be paid directly by Teaching Personnel (we are a PAYE company – no umbrella company)
  • We pay an extra 12% on top of your hourly pay rate towards your National Insurance contribution

If you are passionate about working with vulnerable young people, and giving them support at this crucial point in their lives, please get in touch by applying and sending your CV today!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
