Role: KS2 Classroom Teacher
Location: Salisbury
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Requirements:
**Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): The ideal candidate must possess QTS or equivalent qualifications, demonstrating the ability to meet the national teaching standards.
**Relevant Teaching Experience: Prior experience of teaching within the KS2 curriculum is essential, allowing the successful candidate to effectively plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the needs of the students.
**Strong Pedagogical Skills: The candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding of effective teaching strategies, differentiation techniques, and assessment methods to facilitate progress and maximize the potential of each student.
**Curriculum Knowledge: A comprehensive knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS2 is required, including the core subjects of English, Mathematics, and Science, along with a good understanding of the wider curriculum areas.
**Excellent Communication: The ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is crucial. The candidate should possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
**Classroom Management: A proven track record of maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing behavior, and promoting positive discipline strategies is essential.
**Creativity and Innovation: We are looking for a candidate who can bring fresh ideas, innovative teaching methods, and a creative approach to the classroom, ensuring students are motivated and engaged in their learning journey.
**Differentiation and Inclusion: The successful candidate should have experience in differentiating lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
**Collaboration and Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to the overall development of the school and actively participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
**Safeguarding: The candidate must have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and follow the school's safeguarding policies and procedures.
