We are currently recruiting two teaching assistants to work on a 2:1 basis located within the Bolton area to be a part of a specialist school for children ages 11-16. This school focuses on the successful return of their pupils to mainstream education. As a result of the severe emotional trauma these young people have experienced they can display a range of challenging behaviours, so being able to manage these behaviours positively is imperative.

This is a temporary role, with great potential to become permanent.

The school is looking for two confident and resilient individuals who are able to engage with reluctant learners on a one-to-one basis and in the classroom.

The successful teaching assistants for this Bolton post will be helping a learner who is under performing in their subjects and assist them in implementing strategies to benefit the learner in self-esteem and confidence. You must be a strong role model, motivated and dedicated to providing outstanding teaching support.

The school is looking for two passionate teaching assistants to create change and bring enthusiasm to assist pupils in day to day learning and routines. You will have a desire for working with young people and be looking to make a real difference.
