Excellent Opportunity! SEMH Teaching Assistants needed in Kidbrooke

An Inclusion in Kidbrooke, South London is looking for Specialist Learning Support Mentors to support Primary aged students with Social Emotional Mental Health Difficulties and Challenging behavior. This school needs hard working resilient staff to help provide support and care for their pupils.

• Excellent experience for recent graduates who are looking to become a specialist SEN teacher.

• Long Term Full Time role to start ASAP (Monday – Friday 8:30 – 16:00)

This school requires energetic and dedicated people that can demonstrate a good understanding of the concepts and principles of SEMH and apply this to allow students to achieve their full potential.

The main goal of the inclusion is to attempt to prepare the students there for mainstream schooling again or help support and mentor the students at the inclusion, implementing behavior strategies and ensuring the development of their education continues to the highest standard.

Candidate:

• SEMH experience

• Energetic and dedicated with an engaging personality

• Ability to build strong relationship

• Team Teach trained is ideal but not required

• Safeguarding knowledge

• Creative

• Prior experience with primary aged students

Candidates will have a desire to build strong relationships with students. Have the ability to aid in social and emotional progression of students, through the pursuit of excellence in all areas.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
