A lovely SEN Specialist school is seeking Teaching Assistants (TA’s) to provide an exceptional level of support to pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

The school provides a high quality of educational experience for visually impaired pupils, including those who are multi-disabled visually impaired. The school is situated in pleasant grounds in Wimbledon, with easy access via road, rail and tube to London and the South East. Pupils, from some 28 Local Authorities throughout southern England, attend as either day pupils or as weekly boarders (Monday to Friday).

The Ideal candidate will have:

• BSL Level 1 or Level 2

• Previous experience working with SEN children

• Knowledge or training on safeguarding children is ideal

• Experience working with ASC & PMLD either adults or children is highly beneficial

• Long Term full time role (Monday – Friday 8:30 – 15:30)
